better languages wins competition

We are delighted to have won a regional competition. As part of the EMDA sponsored I-Festival, the Growth Investment Network held an Elevator Pitch competition in March. We won in the category most investment ready business. The prize is attendance for two members of staff at today’s I-Festival Gala Dinner, and online mentoring with Dragon’s Den’s Rachel Elnaugh. The panel of judges included Michael Acton Smith of Firebox.com and Mind Candy, and Alex Tew of Milliondollarhomepage and Popjam, in addition to Rachel Elnaugh.

“To be recognised by such a notable panel of successful entrepreneurs as a successful, growing business, is very encouraging” said Mike Hunter, CEO of better languages. “We are continuing to grow very rapidly, and are at a stage where we may consider venture capital as a way to enhance growth. We are looking to develop our brand and to take the agency to the next level.”
