book translation – translating literary and technical works
April 23rd, 2010 - News
Book translation can be single or multiple language, as with all areas of translation work, we use specialist translators, who are both professionally qualified, and native of the target language. As with any area of translation, the clearer the source text, the easier is the work of the translator. For technical books, we can prepare a glossary of agreed terminology and ensure that this is used consistently. We can quote on book translations on receipt of an editable copy of the source text, we are happy to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to receiving the text, and the only use we will put to the document is to provide a quote, we can then ensure that it is deleted from our system if the client decides not to go ahead. For large projects, it is likely that we will want a proportion of the price up front before starting work. More information about book translation will soon be found on a new book translation page of our website, in the meantime, please contact us if you want to enquire about book translation.
