translating user guides
October 10th, 2008 - News
We have been very busy lately translating a range of product user guides and leaflets for several different clients. We are working on stair gate and steriliser user guides into 9 languages for Mothercare International, we have also translated a scanning machine technical brochure into Simplified Chinese, and a set of product brochures into German for Dales Sports.
We continue to work on improvements to our website, and have new language versions in preparation.
Translators CVs: we attract CVs from translators and interpreters all over the world. We are often asked how we select translators for given assignments. There are a number of criterion including professional qualification, and areas of technical specialism, as well as skills in the required language combination. Wherever possible we use the same translators for a given client as this builds consistency, and the translators get to know the client, and to understand their preferences.
Translation for private individuals: we don’t only translate for companies, we also provide translations for individuals. Often this can be legal translation, for example of documents and certificates, but we can also translate letters and e-mails.
