Better Languages Wins Competition
We are delighted to have won a regional competition. As part of the EMDA sponsored I-Festival. The Growth Investment Network held an Elevator Pitch competition in March. We won in the category of most investment ready business. The prize is attendance for two members of staff at today’s I-Festival Gala Dinner. We have also won online mentoring with Dragon’s Den’s Rachel Elnaugh. The judges included Michael Acton Smith of Firebox.com as well as Mind Candy, and Alex Tew of Milliondollarhomepage and Popjam.
Better Languages wins competition – as most investment ready business
The competition involved us giving a short video elevator pitch. This had to show the businesses strengths, and explain what we do.
“For such a notable panel of successful entrepreneurs to see us as a successful, growing business, is very encouraging” said Mike Hunter, CEO of Better Languages. “We are continuing to grow very rapidly. The company is now at a stage where we may consider venture capital as a way to enhance growth. We are looking to develop our brand and to take the agency to the next level.”
You can read more about our company history, on the about us, section of the website. We also give company updates as part of this news section. The business has grown from small beginnings in the 1980s, to now working with some of the world’s largest brands.
We have continued to invest from profit. Strengthening our IT and software support, back office functions, as well as project management systems. The staff team is also growing. We are working into more languages than ever before, with an increasing pool of highly skilled translators.
