We have a Translation Manager vacancy to join our head office team. The job is based in our modern head offices, which are near Nottingham city centre. You will report directly to the company directors. You will be responsible for co-ordinating complex multi-lingual translation projects. The job involves leading a team of both freelance translators and other suppliers.
The work requires effective communication with both suppliers and clients, and efficient account management of a our regular customers. Our intention is to grow the business. You will need to be a dynamic self starter. Show proven ability to work effectively with large corporate clients. You will lead a team of both translators and other suppliers.
Other essential requirements are:
- Excellent communication skills in English and another major language
- A good understanding of the role of the translator, as well as QA, and support services such as DTP and typesetting
- The ability to co-ordinate and plan work in accordance with our strict quality requirements,
- an eye for detail,
- the ability to form an essential part of an effective, as well as close knit management team.
Please note that you must hold a translation relevant qualification, and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
